Right-Wing Extremism

Right-Wing Extremism refers to a political ideology or movement characterized by the belief in the superiority of certain races or cultures, hostility toward immigration and multiculturalism, and the advocacy of nationalistic or authoritarian governance. This ideology often manifests in the promotion of social hierarchies based on race, ethnicity, or religion, and can include xenophobia, nativism, and anti-democratic sentiments.

Right-wing extremists may engage in activities that are violent, discriminatory, or fundamentally anti-liberal, often targeting minority groups and advocating for a return to traditional values seen as threatened by modern social changes. The term encompasses a range of groups and individuals, including various militia movements, neo-fascist organizations, and white supremacist groups.

In recent years, right-wing extremism has gained global attention, particularly for its involvement in acts of domestic terrorism and hate crimes. Authorities and experts often scrutinize the online radicalization of individuals within these movements and the impact of social media in spreading extremist ideologies.
